I had a tailwind for two thirds of today’s ride! Such a different experience!
The ride was uneventful, but a highlight was running into Craig, who had been riding with Hank (whom I met yesterday). It was great chatting with him beside the road. He is camping every night, including wild camping, and he rode 200 miles yesterday. We are on very different tours!
Tomorrow I will reach Texas, and I plan to spend the night in McLean. I’ve really enjoyed Oklahoma, even the narrow busy roads east of Oklahoma City. I just wish I’d seen a live armadillo, rattlesnake or tarantula!
